Things are still happening at the U3A
As you know, most things grind to a halt in the summer months ... but there are still groups that meet during the summer and there are quite a few events such as dining out etc. So keep checking the website for more info.
We Have a New President
Our AGM was held Thursday May 27th. at the CPC. The meeting was well attended and at this meeting we voted for our next President. The result was extremely close, but the candidate with the most votes was Gill Rowlands who will be taking over from Joe Bellenie in September.
Membership Fees Down !
Due to the healthy state of The Oliva U3A's finances, it was unanimously decided at the AGM to lower the membership fees for next year ... which currently stand at 11 Euros ... down to 8 Euros. As they say .. "Every little counts" !!
