I was born in Manchester where we lived until I was 5 years old and then we moved to Cleveleys. We came to Oliva in 2002 after selling our Computer business. We are fortunate to have retired at an early age. We have totally renovated our Villa in the past 7 years so that has been keeping us busy. My main passion in life is my dogs. We have 4 Staffordshire Bull Terriers imported from England and an American Stafford bought in Denia. I also like classic cars - my husband has a 1965 Ford Mustang, a 1966 Beetle and an AC Cobra; we enjoy trips out in them and take part in rallies. I like cooking and trying out new recipes. I am looking forward to joining the committee of the U3A and seeing how things are done.
I was born and brought up in Blackpool ... attended Baines Grammar School up to my A levels. Since then I have always worked for myself first starting a used car sales business .. then used furniture and many years in the antiques trade .. next, and finally, a computer shop ... building and repairing PCs. We retired to Oliva in 2002 when I was 49 and since then I have never stopped ! Renovating our villa, restoring my classic cars, repairing PCs, websites etc. My hobbies are classic American muscle cars, motorsports, our dogs www.siglostaffords.co.uk (we have 4 Staffords and one Amstaff ), and drinking beer in the sun !
