Telephone: 96 286 3980
Meetings: 10.15 - 11.45 every Monday morning at the C.P.C. THE NEXT CLASS IS ON 22ND FEBRUARY.
Unfortunately we have had to close the classes to new students owing to the numbers now attending. This will be kept under review.
Our aim is to help each other to attain the ability to communicate and understand some basic Spanish. Our ambition has to be realistic with the time and resources available, particularly for anybody learning a foreign language for the first time. We are doing our best to be able to communicate with our Spanish neighbours and understand what is going on around us as we live our lives in Spain. The aim of the group is to build on the basics of Spanish learnt in the Beginners Group. We try to cover the three elements of getting to grips with a foreign language i.e. speaking/pronunciation, reading and listening. We try to make the classes relevant by concentrating on practical Spanish whenever possible. We like to focus on Spanish useful in everyday situations living in Spain. We also try to cover Spanish that is useful at particular times of the year like Christmas and New Year etc. We try to have some fun in the group and to this end we owe a big debt of gratitude to Lola Lago and her friends and colleagues at her detective agency in Madrid!
